Awesome! Here's everything you need to know about our commission process.
Step 1: Read our Terms of Service and FAQ!
This is one of the most important things to do when choosing your maker! We highly encourage commissioners to read through our Terms carefully to ensure that we are the maker for you. Doing this makes the overall commissioning process much easier for both you, the commissioner and the maker. If you have a question(s) not included in our FAQ or TOS, please feel free to contact us via Email or direct message on our Social Media, we will happily oblige. |
Step 2: Reference Sheet!
So after reading through our terms and asking any questions you might have, you've decided to commission us. We're honored! The first thing you're going to need is a reference sheet. This is very crucial, because without a proper and accurate reference sheet of your character, we won't be able to capture them the way you want so please make sure your reference is accurate and up to date! Three view (Front, back, and side) sheets are preferred and are the best in terms of capturing the design as accurately as possible. Don't have a reference sheet? That's okay! At an additional cost, we are perfectly willing to work with you to create a reference for your fursuit that is to your liking. *You do not need a reference sheet for Props, accessories, or clothing, but they are still recommended for accuracy! |
Step 3: Request a Quote!
Our Quotes are always open and we will respond to them Mon - Fri every week unless stated otherwise. You can find our Quote form here. In your quote please specify everything you want and we will give you our price. This price is good for 1 year from the date your quote was issued. This means if our prices change within that 1 year time frame, you will still pay whatever we quoted you for. A quote does not mean a guaranteed commission on the spot. It is simply a price and you can submit your quote form for review when we open for commissions. In order to get an accurate please make sure to specify EVERYTHING you want included in your commission from details to features. Feel free to ask if we can do certain things. We are always willing to work with you and try new things. *Quoted prices do not include shipping. |
Step 4: Commission Submission!
So now you have your quoted price, great! Now just sit tight until you have the funds or when we open for commissions. First, check and see if we're open, you can view our commission status here or our home page. Make sure we're open for the type of commission you're wanting. For example we might be open for Fullsuits, but not Head-only commissions. Typically, we will always be open for Prop and accessory only commissions on an asking basis unless stated otherwise. If we're open for what you want, just send us an email saying you'd like to commission us and if you haven't already filled out a quote form, please do so FIRST. However, if we have already quoted you within the past year, we will have it on file already. *Fursuit commissions are not First-come First-serve unless otherwise stated. |
Step 5: Contract and Payment
Your commission submission has been reviewed an accepted by us. This is exciting news! But in order to finalize your spot on our queue every commissioner is required to electronically sign a contract with us along with providing a photo ID to ensure you are over 18. This contract includes all of our terms that both you and us as your maker agree upon, this includes any sort of payment plan. After the contract has been signed and everything checks out, we will require either a 30% deposit if we've agreed upon a payment plan, or up front payment. The first payment is fully refundable for up to 7 business days. Once materials have been purchased and should the commissioner decide to cancel the commission, we reserve the right to keep the 30% deposit for the cost of the purchased materials.
*Work on your commission (beyond the foam head base if commissioning a suit) will not be officially started until full payment has been received. |
Step 6: Duct Tape Dummy and Measurments:
If you're commissioning a full-suit we will ask that you create a duct tape dummy of yourself and mail it to us safely so that we can build a suit just for you. This step does not have to be done right away and we won't need your dummy until the body is ready to be started. So you have plenty of time! Duct Tape Dummy Tutorial However, even when not commissioning a fullsuit, we will require measurements as needed before we begin work on your commission! So please make sure you have access to some measuring tape. |
Step 7: The Work Process!
As your maker, we will do our very best to keep you updated once we start working on your commission. This part of the commission process can be stressful, but we will work with you every step of the way to ensure that your commission turns out accurate to your design and you can rest easy knowing exactly what's going on. This is the most important time to ask questions and tell us when you might not like a specific feature or think something is wrong. |
Step 8: Special Delivery!
Yay, your commission is complete and we've sent you all of the final photos of your product. Once we've gotten your approval, we will give you your shipping options and prices (including shipping insurance) , then once payment for that has been received, we will promptly pack up your commission and send it your way! Every suit is as precious to us as they are to you and will be packaged with utmost care to assure that it is delivered safely. Once you have received your commission, we love hearing feedback and seeing pictures / videos of you with your new suit or prop. So feel free to tag us and leave us a review. |
