Terms of Service
I. Eligibility
- You must be 18 years of age or older in order to purchase custom orders from Double Trouble. All accepted commissions are required to supply a picture ID upon signing our commission contract in the form of a picture of yourself holding up your ID.
- If you are under the age of 18, a signed letter from a parent or legal guardian is required before a commission can be accepted. This letter is to confirm that they are aware of your purchase and also agree to our terms. All financial and legal proceedings that take place throughout the commission process will be done so through the parent or guardian.
*We however encourage our younger commissioners to wait until they are above age, because you are still young and your body is still growing. We will not take responsibility for adjustments if you grow out of your suit.
We reserve the right to deny our service at our own discretion.

II. Quotes and Ordering
- Quotes DO NOT equal a guaranteed commission slot. Quotes are an estimated price based on the submitted reference or description, commission type, and desired features. The quoted price is good for 1 year from the date it is filled, and can be submitted to us when we are open for commissions anytime within that time frame.
-When applying for a quote, please allow up to 3 business days for it to be processed.

-We will not consider any commission without first receiving a quote form. Quotes are always open and can be filled out anytime, including when we are open for commission submissions. If you have a quoted price prior to a commission opening, simply give us your email that the quote was issued to.

III. Payment
- With every commission, whether paid up front or via payment plan have a %30 NON-REFUNDABLE materials down payment. This is the first payment needed to secure your commission slot. If this down payment is not paid WITHIN 48 HOURS of signing the contract with us, the contract will be voided and the customer will forfeit the slot.
- The %30 down payment is only refundable within 7 days prior to payment. After the 7 day period, that payment becomes NON_REFUNDABLE and will there begin to be used to purchase materials for your commission.
Payment Plans
- We accept payment plans! We will work with you to create a payment plan for the rest of the bill (Excluding the %30 down payment). Payments can either be made monthly or biweekly.
- If you cannot make a payment on time, work on your commission will be stopped until you are able to pay. Should this time frame exceed 7 days, late fees will apply.
+$5 for each additional day after the grace period has passed.
- Commission will not shipped out until full payment is received.

-All Shipping and customs fees are the responsibility of the commissioner. When the time comes we will present the commissioner with a list of their shipping options and prices. We highly recommend purchasing an insurance to ensure your package arrives safely.

- We will do our very best to pack your suit as safely and comfortably as possible. We do not take responsibility for any possible damages caused by the mailing services, however we are perfectly willing to work with you to fix them.
- We will not ship your commission until shipping fees have been paid.
-All Shipping and customs fees are the responsibility of the commissioner. When the time comes we will present the commissioner with a list of their shipping options and prices. We highly recommend purchasing an insurance to ensure your package arrives safely.

V. Refunds
- Commissions are fully refundable for up to 7 DAYS. Once this grace period has ended, the commissioner agrees that the %30 down payment is NON-REFUNDABLE.
- The Commissioner agrees that refunds will be issues based on the amount of work done on the project.
- Refunds can be issued for reasons including:
- Customer Cancelation
- Customer Breach of Contract
- Should we, the owner, cancel a commission ourselves for reasons NOT STATED ABOVE, we will refund the commissioner the total cost of the funds.
- Commissions are fully refundable for up to 7 DAYS. Once this grace period has ended, the commissioner agrees that the %30 down payment is NON-REFUNDABLE.

- We will do our utmost best to provide our commissioners with progress photos and inquiries every step of the way to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Progress will NOT be shared until the commission has been started. Once work has started, expect regular updates.
- DO NOT Harass us about your commission. All of our products are crafted by hand and we take our time to ensure the best quality we can produce!
- If you do not get AT LEAST a monthly update, do send us a message. Unless otherwise stated, we will be providing you progress photos AT LEAST once a month. (This does not include other communication such as material preferences and questions).

VII. Design Changes and Edits
- Please make sure your reference is accurate and up to date!
- Any design changes to color will ONLY be accepted before materials are purchased.
- Any small design changes to marking placement will ONLY be accepted before patterning begins.
- Any changes requested after these times are subject to additional charges.

VIII. Deadlines and Delays
- At this time we do NOT accept deadlines. You can tell us when you might hope to have your commission by, but we don't make any guarantees.
- We will promptly notify our commissioners should any delays occur that inhibit work.

IX. Warranty and Repairs
- All Double Trouble commissioned products come with a limited 1 year warranty! If your suit needs a few holes patched or normal wear-and-tear fixed, you can ship it back to us or meet us at a convention and we will patch it up for free. (Customer pays shipping)
- PLEASE clean and wash your suit before shipping it back to us for repairs otherwise there will be a $100 washing fee.
- We will NOT fix issues that are blatantly caused by misuse.
- After the 1 year is up, there will be a small fee for small fix ups.
- ASK US about refurbishments.
- All Double Trouble commissioned products come with a limited 1 year warranty! If your suit needs a few holes patched or normal wear-and-tear fixed, you can ship it back to us or meet us at a convention and we will patch it up for free. (Customer pays shipping)
